Very helpful staff, friendly and accommodating. Had great dinner on first night, delicious food. Enjoyed much on beach and pool, shark feeding too. Special thanks to Ms Desiry the manager for tirelessly assisting us and her team for our great stay at the resort. Would recommend this resort to family and friends.

Trekking on the Island is a surprise for me, plus I love how the staff handled their guest. super beautiful place is a plus. I Would really recommend the place to my friends and families. The place is a great avenue celebrating special occasions especially for couples, wedding anniversary, Team building and many more. The Island has a lot to offer. If you want to escape the city life this would be a good place for you and the food is super delicious. I personally loved their hot chocolate.

We had a day tour at Sumilon Island last week and I must say I already wanna go back. I loved our little trek around the island to see the magnificent view of the sea. We had so much fun at the sandbar too! I also loved the food and the staff are just so accommodating all the way. I wanna try glamping next!

Last weekend, I spent my day in Bluewater Sumilon. The entire island is a paradise and I was there to enjoy with my friends. We had snorkeling, trekking, and swimming in the beach. The sand is so white and the amenities are excellent! I noticed that more of being there for an adventure, it's an island to relax. You can just spend all day watching the waves go by, reading a book, or just staying away from the toxicity of the city life. I'll be coming back soon. I'm excited!

I finally had a chance to visit Sumilon Island and it was awesome and I was really amazed by the beauty of the island. The best experience for me was the trail/trekking activity and it was safe. I will visit again the island very soon. The best resort island in Southern Cebu.

You guys were awesome! A true value for its money and a genuine glamping experience. Your staff is amazing! Hope we get to take better photos of your sharks. Hehe A great night with a movie or music in the glamping area would make the experience even great! Also, I've noticed that part of the trekking trail runs on top of the lagoon. It'd be great to plant bougainvilleas at the edge so by summer when it blooms, it'd drape down to the lagoon looking like a flower fall on top to contrast the beauty of its greens. ��

one of the main points which made our stay truly unforgettable was de devotion of our glamping � assistant � Jeric. He was amazing, very king, always availble and made some great seefood for us to enjoy on our what felt like a private beach. Glamping was also perfect, everything brand new and very well finished. You actually pay for the location on a private island and the amazing customer service. The money doesn�t go in the 100 percent perfect finish of every detail, but that�s not what we were looking for.

We really wanted to visit Oslob for the whale shark tour. Good thing there was a promotion with BDO American Express so we were able to book four villas with a 20% discount. There was great service and I really give thanks to Erica dela Fuente who arranged everything for us. Very patient and detailed in her emails and messages for all our concerns and queries. Facilities are good. I particularly enjoyed the new themes for the dinner buffet. We have barrio fiesta the first night and mexican the next. There were three birthday celebrators from the family so they prepared us nice cakes. The rooms are ok. And it was nice that part of the payment was that you could eat all that was in the mini-bar. The infinity pool is ok, it just does not look like the inifnity pools I have seen. The swimming pool near the beach is better. I also enjoyed the kayaking and the fish feeding in the lagoon. They also prepared a bonfire for us which was a good time and place to talk with my siblings. The beach near the lagoon is not really "swimmable" as it has too many rocks. The sandbar on the other part of the island is better but that is where the day tour visitors also go so there are a lot of people. We took a tour from Island Trek and their guide, Lester, was really good. Very knowledgeable and he really exerted a lot of effort to address all our needs. If you take the whale shark tour, best to dive in to observe the whale sharks in the water. You just have to stay near the boat and they will be there already. For the mountain bike activity, I hope they also get bikes for kids. Its all for adults. Hope to be back there soon.

We had a day tour that comes with lunch buffet. If you think its expensive to stay at the island, you can just stay nearby which only one boat-ride away, like us! Staff are friendly and give clear instruction. The sea view is extraordinary! Sea water have a beautiful shade of blue, when you step closer, get to see a crystal clear water. You can skip their snorkeling, just some small fishes there. Lunch is nice. The infinity pool is beautiful too. Would visit again to stay overnight at the island, I believe the experience is even nicer!

We're not here for our honeymoon, but this was a great experience, provided that the staff give excellent service wherever we are on the island. The place is clean and we feel very secured even if at that time, there were rumors of active local terrorism. The food was great too! We couldn't ask for anything else!

Excellent resort with great rooms and facilities.. Most of all excellent and genuine hospitality. The staff here made our week long stay one to remember. Our villa was spacious and private. The beaches surrounding the island was great for snorkeling with plenty of fish and corals. Themed food nights were also provided a great selection for meals. Great place to relax and unwind. I would like to especially mention Aimee, Chin, Weng, Jennifer, Roldan, Bryaan, JoJo and Carlos. T hey went out of there way to make our stay as relaxed and enjoyable as anyone could ask. Also a big thank you to management and all your background staff. You guys and girls all do a great job of taking care of all your guests. I stay in a lot of five star hotels and resorts as part of my work and it�s been some of, if not the best service I�ve experienced. Keep up the good work. We will be back.. It�s officially SUMMER! and it�s time to go the Beach. I was invited by my friend living in Cebu to go to Sumilon. She arranged a day tour package to Bluewaters Resort. The package is inclusive of a buffet lunch! Imagine having lunch after all the activities available within the resort- from kayaking, pedal boat, fish feeding, snorkeling and swimming. The buffet was located olong the shore which makes if more refreshing.

Good facilities and nice sand bar. Needs to improve the f&b service quite slow specially during lunch time. I still recommend the place good for family vacation. Very near to Oslob whale shark watching.

I doubt there is a nicer place to stay on the Southside of Cebu!! We came down from Mactan and originally planned to drive back the same day, but quickly changed our minds once we found Bluewater Sumilon, and I am VERY glad we did. We'll be back next time we visit Cebu.

Positive: Me and my partner stayed at the resort from 12-14 April 2018 and we had an amazing time there. Every staff are kind and helpful and they are all willing to help. The location may a bit tricky to go if you arrived in Oslob after 18:00 as you may have to arrange the boat transportation to reach the resort. If you love the crystal clear water and great resort get away, this is the best resort in Oslob. Breakfast and Diner are excellent with various choices of food which will meet your need for sure. Overall this resort made our stay perfect and we will definitely come back again. Negative: The day tour tourists to the resort in the afternoon. A la carte service may have to accelerate a bit during lunch time.

We had an amazing time at Bluewater Sumilon! We loved the boutique resort atmosphere with only 31 guestrooms, the tranquility on the island, the turquoise blue water surrounding the island. We thoroughly enjoyed snorkelling at their Marine Sanctuary, the mountain bike riding and just enjoying the beautiful scenery from their infinity pool. The service was very good and staff were very attentive to our needs. The only negative feedback is the day tours... people come to the island and use facilities which are meant to be just for in-house guests. It's a bit annoying especially when the price difference between in-house guests and day tours is massive. Overall, a little bit expensive but worth it and we recommend it! We will be back! Oh and the whaleshark watching is so close!! But we recommend you take a special boat trip early in the morning as it was already packed when we took the 9am boat and had to wait hours!

As a member of Bluewater we took advantage of their day trip and overnight stay. It is a truly beautiful, natural place, blending into the island landscape, and from what we could see is environmentally friendly. There are three treks on the island graded from easy to advanced, depending on the terrain. The cycle trail was quite demanding, but well worth the effort. The beach is quite narrow and shelves quite steeply at high tide and there are strong currents to be aware of. Life guards were always on duty. There are two swimming pools, one, the infinity pool, for the exclusive use of in house guests and the second pool for all guests. Our deluxe room had a beautiful view of the sea which was only a few meters from our door. A wonderful weekend away and will definitely go again.
